Fishing Dholes Rocks Fun

We like Dholes Rocks. We have caught some good size fish over the last 15 years here.

Catching Fish in the Cooler Months

In the winter times there are lots of sand whiting that can be fun to catch and some of them are a good size.
You will catch flathead, tailor, stingray, crabs and more.

Types of Bait

We find that the main type of bait used is prawns for the smaller to medium fish you will find here.
For the larger fish we use pilchards, fresh fish pieces or live bait.

Catching Fish in the Warmer Months

In the summer there are a great variety of fun fish to catch. Dart, Bream, Leatherjackets, Perch and more.
You will catch flathead, stingray, crabs and more with larger rods. We have caught many large fish here.
